The Boomtown   Garter Girls  were started 30 years ago by Lyndsay Fraser in Rossland B.C.
The Boomtown Garter Girls are an energetic group of authentic Can-Can dancers. Since 1980 this group has entertained locally at many different venues and has also travelled throughout the province to display their unique act. In 1995 the toupe became international when they visited and performed in Japan.
In 1997 the Boomtown Garter Girls acted as embassadors for the Kootenays and dazzled audiences at select West Kootenay Power functions both in the Kootenays and the Okanogan.
This troupe took first place at the 1997 "Feathers and Frills" Can-Can competition held in Rossland.
Their explosive performance along with singing and theatrics, is a dynamic entertainment package.
